The skatepark, (also known as Bloblands), is a popular spot for skateboarding and bmxing.

It's an all concrete skatepark and features a range of street and transition elements. The skatepark features a pump bump and a volcano enclosed in a bowled area as well as a range of ledges and a mini ramp.

Country walk

The country walk covers 3 acres of the park from the Finch Avenue entrance to the Salter's Hill entrance. The walk also boasts many native species of plants and trees, all planted and maintained by dedicated volunteers.

There's also many relaxing sitting areas which can be used for quiet moments, or for a picnic!

If you are interested in helping to maintain the country walk, visit the What's on section to see when the gardening days are happening.

Home growers area

The home growers area was set up in 2010 for the community to grow vegetables for use at home or to share with others.

The spot consists of around 20 raised beds with members of the public growing seasonal foods such as cabbage, potato, carrots and courgettes!

If you're interested in getting involved, contact us.

We've been awarded funding to rejuvenate the home growers area, follow our progress!

Sports pitch

The sport pitch (also known as a multi use games area or MUGA), is a floodlit football pitch which is ideal for 5-a-side and 11 a side football, and roller derby.

The football pitch has a hard, porous macadam surface with two static goals at each end and is available for community use.
